Regulation (EU) 2020/1054: from 1 July 2026, the tachograph requirement will also apply to light commercial vehicles (from 2.5 to 3.5 tonnes) used for cross-border freight transport or cabotage operations, including vans and delivery vehicles.
Drivers will be required to:
• use a valid driver card;
• correctly record driving and rest periods;
• make any necessary manual entries;
• cooperate in the downloading and management of tachograph data.
